Does Wishlist Auto Registration Support Trial Periods?

Wishlist Auto Registration does not work when trial periods are purchased, the reason is that in most cases the payment gateway doesn't transfer the correct information back and, therefore, Wishlist Auto Registration cannot automatically register the member.
