Do I have to use WooCommerce Subscriptions Add-On for subscription payments when using MemberPress WooCommerce Plus?

If you want to integrate MemberPress and WooCommerce using MemberPress WooCommerce Plus, and you want to charge subscriptions you will need a subscription plugin or add-on for WooCommerce. When using MemberPress WooCommerce Plus, WooCommerce is the one responsible for the payment processing, while MemberPress is responsible for the content protection and restriction. We recommend using the official WooCommerce Subscriptions add-on by WooCommerce, however, you can also use other subscription add-ons for WooCommerce that integrates with WooCommerce. Please note that there is one very major benefit to using the official WooCommerce Subscriptions add-on over other add-ons or plugins: You can use a different subscription plugin for WooCommerce, the main difference however, is that with WooCommerce subscriptions our plugin supports refunds. With all plugins, when a customer cancels his subscription, the membership will expire at the end of the period and will not renew again. However, when someone cancels the order and gets a refund, our plugin will automatically set the membership as "Refunded" within MemberPress itself > in the transactions tab > "Status". This feature is supported only when using WooCommerce Subscriptions WooCommerce official add-on. If you will use a different add-on or plugin you will need to change the membership's status manually.
