Why are some of the shortcodes sold as separate add-ons?

Wishlist Smart Shortcodes currently includes 32 different shortcodes (core plugin and add-ons). We make sure all our plugins and add-ons updated and compatible with the latest versions of WordPress and Wishlist Member, and the two platforms update frequently and on a regular basis. Separating the shortcodes to several different add-ons is done to allow as many Wishlist Member users to purchase the shortcodes they need without being charged extra for shortcodes they don’t need. In addition to the core plugin you can purchase these add-ons: Content Shortcodes Add-On, Members Shortcodes Add-On, and Protection Shortcodes Add-On.
